Registration for summer league 2026 is OPEN

Registration for PCCL summer season for 2026 is underway. Each of our leagues filled up in 2025. We have created some extra room for additional players and outside teams for 2026. Reserve your spot before we fill up!

The PCCL has designed a better format - this fits the life of a college baseball player.  We play 2 double headers per week.  This leaves you 5 days a week to train, work, live and get ready for your next fall season.

There is no out of region travel in the PCCL.  We keep teams as local as we can to save on wasted drive time.

Individual players are invited to register and be placed on a league team. What we have found over the years is that there are a LOT of college players that need a team to play with. We will make that happen. All positions are welcome to register.

Full club teams are also invited to register to play. If you have, run or are with a full team of players at this level, we encourage you to enter your team and get a full schedule of games. As a team, you will pay one team fee and it will cover your; field time, umpires (2 per game) and game balls. If you have a field to host games on for your team, we reduce your team fee accordingly.

Players and/or teams are welcome to use the registration section of the website to pencil yourself in for a great summer of baseball.

PCCL is the League for Pitcher Only Players

PCCL loves pitcher only players.

Each of our league teams will play 2 DH's per week.  Each team will have 8-10 pitchers on the roster.  This leaves enough innings for each pitcher to get a reasonable amount of innings each summer!

Our league coaches are asked to get with all Pitcher Only players each week and let you know which game(s) you will be pitching in that week.  Only show up for those games.  You are allowed to leave when you are done pitching.  We do not ask you to stick around for all team games.

Get your work in and get out of there.

Our summer player fee is only $300 for the entire season - whether you are a starter or reliever.

Keep your training or work schedule this summer - come pitch in the PCCL!

Guaranteed Playing Time For All Players

Summer Collegiate season is designed for players to get their reps, improve and go back to their school a better player.  One of the biggest issues with these leagues is that just like spring season, some players pay their money, show up and still get pushed to the end of the bench.

The other reality is that a lot of the "super teams" put 20 position players (and too many pitchers) on their roster.  Most of the time they won't tell you that is there intention.  In this case again, some (a lot of) players will get shorted when it comes to getting their reps.

We take a different approach.  We only put 13 or 14 position players on a roster.  We also do it by position:

* 2 or 3 catchers

* 3 Corner Infielders

* 3 Middle Infielders

* 4 Outfielders

* 1 Utility player

What we do is have our coaches put all position players in the lineup.  We bat everyone.  This way you KNOW you will get your ABs.   Based on league rules, this also allows us free defensive substitutions.  We rotate players in to their primary positions about 60% of the defensive innings.

PCCL does it this way so that we can GUARANTEE you get your reps over the summer season.

PCCL - Positive Minded Coaching / Positive Environment

The PCCL is a positive Coaching / Positive Player Environment.

So much of baseball is "old school".  There is a lot of screaming and yelling at players from coaches and from players to players on the other team.  Most high school and college baseball games are a slow boil into a large cat fight...

We like to take the other approach.  Play with class.  Win with class.  Lose with class.  Baseball for most players is about the experience, confidence, self esteem and preparing players for their life as an adult.

The negativity and abrasiveness that is learned through HS and College baseball just doesn't transfer well into work settings, relationships or raising (their own) children later in life.

Since the world series isn't on the line in any game in the PCCL, we take a more mature approach.  Compete and play to win - just do it with class and respect.  No need to go all scorched earth.

Our role as "Coaches" for these yound adults is to teach them the game of baseball, give them an opportunity to improve their game so they can get to the next level and maybe most importantly teach them personal skills that can serve them the rest of their lives, because the truth of it is that baseball is over for most players by the time they are 21 or 22 years old (or sooner).

Let's teach life skills while we are having fun playing the game we love!

PCCL will be expanding again in 2026

The PCCL has established leagues in SoCal, AZ, IL, CO and IN. We will be hosting games in those areas again this summer. Our plans include a sizeable expansion for summer 2026!

New leagues will be offered in; Texas, Pennsylvania, Boston, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.

Our unique format and opportunity for players to get guaranteed playing time has created a demand for more leagues. We will meet that demand in 2026 and beyond with even further expansion.

Graduating Seniors with a commitment should play UP

The PCCL invites graduating HS seniors with a commitment to a college baseball program to play UP in the summer collegiate league. We feel that it is to their benefit to play with us during the summer.

Here is the bottom line. If you are headed for college baseball, please realize you will quickly be playing against 19- 22 year old players. All of these players are older and more physically mature they most graduating seniors.

Play UP in the college league. See the game at a faster level. Get used to playing against older / college players. This can only help you as you get to college baseball.

As an 18u player (Graduated senior), you have a couple of options. Maybe your HS team still wants you to play 18u tournaments with them. Some do that for their seniors. Many HS want to focus their time on their incoming seniors and leave their graduated players on their own.

Contact us if  you have your commitment in place and want to get ready for College baseball.

Contact us and find out if you are eligible to play in our summer leagues.

Any college player on a current roster is eligible

PCCL Offers a Redshirt League in CA & TX

We are focused on helping Collegiate baseball players. The reality of it is that so many players get caught in an unenviable position – being on the wrong team. We want to help these players as well.

Once a player makes his commitment to a college team, they should rightfully celebrate! This is a major accomplishment. Congratulations! The reality of it is that 30-40% of all committed college players quickly find out that they are not in the position they thought they would be in.

College Politics, over rostered players, increasing age of college players, high school players not realizing what college will be like, College recruiting coordinators selling what is not the reality at their school… So many reasons why players need to find another school – quickly!

The PCCL is here for those players. The best thing you can do if you need a new situation is to – Start playing! Start getting reps. Don’t be embarrassed. Don’t lose your self confidence! Just start getting in shape, start getting reps and find people that can help you find your next school.

We have helped so many players over the years! We meet amazing baseball players in cactus league (spring league). We are so many times blown away at the level of talent that is just looking for another chance.

Spring league is only possible in warm weather states. The weather from January to April is too cold to play anywhere except Arizona, California, Texas and Florida.

We offer leagues in CA and TX. If you need reps against college level players, please reach out to us. We can help you find that next step in your journey.
